We are fully licensed to host Civil Ceremony weddings. And the house boasts a variety of different period rooms to use including a stunning 14th Century Great Hall, the finest in the area. For the larger numbers we can arrange marquees to be erected that sit neatly in the landscaped gardens or you can keep the celebrations exclusively inside the Court itself. The Great Hall and the Regency anterooms provide a beautiful and romantic backdrop for your wedding, perfect for capturing those timeless photographs of your special day. Holme Lacy House Hotel, Hereford, Herefordshire

We have some magnificent rooms licensed for civil ceremonies within the house catering for a civil ceremony for up to 130 guests. All have period features, such as original oak panelling and fabulous Georgian plasterwork and most have wonderful views overlooking the lawns of Holme Lacy House to the Wye Valley beyond. Our Pavilion is licenced for larger ceremonies with a capacity up to 350. We also have a majestic, ornately carved sweeping staircase and spectacular landscaped gardens that offer a superb setting for photographs. We offer a variety of room types including Historic Suites and Junior Suites, some featuring four-poster beds, a spa bath and other splendid features and facilities. Orles Barn, Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire
Orles Barn is a beautiful property and an ideal setting from which you can create the wedding of your dreams. The property is made exclusively available to you for your wedding, ensuring you and your guests can have the feeling of a home wedding. We have a magnificent marquee in our large rear garden which will accommodate 150 guests sitting down or extensions can be added for additional numbers. Our marquee has hanging chandeliers, carpeted floor and covered walkway from the main building. In cooler months we have heating which will ensure your guests remain warm. Our AA award winning kitchens can provide menus for you from buffets through to gala meals. Our eight bedrooms ensure that the immediate wedding party can be accommodated on site and subject to availability can be reserved for the nights before or after. Ross-on-Wye is a lovely Herefordshire market town which is easily accessible from most parts of the UK. With a number of hotels and B&Bs locally the wedding party can all find somewhere to stay nearby. The venue charge varies depending on the time of year and day of the week. Typically they range from £500 to £3,000 but with weddings where over 100 guests are attending for the meal this charge is waivered.
