Culford Hall, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
For wedding receptions we supply the suite of rooms comprising of Old Hall, Red Room and Workman Library. Guests are normally greeted by the bride & groom at a set of French doors which overlook the south front of the building. They then take pre-reception drinks, served in the staff sitting room. The room is set informally with small groups of easy chairs and some low tables. This allows your guests to gather and chat in an informal atmosphere, and if the weather is fine why not venture out onto the south front to enjoy the formal gardens and terraced lawns. The south front is a very popular place for photographs. At the appointed time guests are called through to the Old Hall where the reception meal will be served. The room can be set out with round tables or more formally with lines of tables to suit the occasion. After dinner, guests can retire to the Red room again for coffee and wedding cake.During this natural break in proceedings Old Hall can be set up for the evenings musical entertainment with a live band or Disco. Wedding receptions with more than 120 guests would be able to use our Centenary Hall which seats up to 250 guests. Visiting Culford Hall is highly recommended.  top

Yaxley Hall, Yaxley, Suffolk
Each wedding celebration that takes place at Yaxley Hall is a unique and individual event, tailored to suit the way that you dream your day should be. We are happy to work with you in order to ensure that your celebration is everything you imagined it could be. Yaxley Hall offers a range of possibilities for your day. Many couples choose a traditional and romantic wedding ceremony, held inside the Hall, with a champagne & canapé reception. This is followed by a full wedding breakfast and evening celebration in a stunning banqueting house marquee in our grounds. Smaller wedding parties may choose to have their wedding breakfast inside the Hall itself. Other couples with local ties begin their preparations at the Hall, have their wedding at a church in the area, and then come back to the Hall for the rest of their celebrations. Most unusually for venues in England, and perfect for the summer months, our delightful Gothick Temple offers a romantic alternative setting for outdoor garden wedding ceremonies. Autumn and winter are especially magical times to celebrate your wedding at Yaxley Hall. The blaze of colour displayed by our surrounding mature trees is closely followed by the cosy glow of candlelight and log fires during crisp evenings. Whether your dreams are of small and intimate, relaxed and informal, or lavish and grand, Yaxley Hall will work with you to turn your wedding dreams into the memories of a lifetime.  top
