The Conservatory At Hopton Court, Between Ludlow and Kidderminster, Worcestershire
Built in 1776 Hopton Court is set amidst 1800 acres of rolling Shropshire countryside, with exhilarating views of the Clee Hills and surrounding area. Situated in the rose garden, the unique Victorian cast iron conservatory offers a fairytale setting for your Civil Ceremony, accommodating up to 70 seated guests. The flowering shrubs and plants, accompanied by the Mediterranean décor also provide the perfect location for drinks and photography, leading out to the beautiful gardens, with the background of the main house. Opening out onto its own gravel Courtyard, the fully refurbished Coach House still retains some of its original features including the stables and tack room, and provides an ideal location for your Wedding Breakfast, seating up to 60 guests. For larger parties a marquee can be positioned in the Courtyard and linked directly to the Coach House, accommodating up to 150 guests. We also understand that couples may choose to have their Wedding Breakfast and evening reception in a marquee at home, but still want to enjoy a beautiful setting for their Civil Ceremony. With this in mind we offer the option of holding your Civil Ceremony in the Victorian Conservatory at Hopton Court, followed by a drinks and canapé reception whilst your photography takes place within the grounds. No Wedding at Hopton Court is too small. We recognise that there are many couples who do not want the complications of a large Wedding, but nevertheless wish to get married in beautiful countryside surroundings, in the company of a few friends and family. We offer a Small Wedding Package for as few as the Bride and Groom plus their witnesses only, or for larger parties up to a maximum of 30 guests. Portcullis Event Management coordinates and manages all weddings at Hopton Court on behalf of the Woodward family. Please enquire for further details.  top
